Highlighting the active ingredient

Grips based on magnesium hydroxycarbonate

This type of grips can be applied to the skin and sports equipment, and their consistency resembles powder or liquid. They are made from a mixture of chalk and other ingredients that aid adhesion. Easy to use, provide a firm grip.

However, they have one main drawback - they leave white marks on clothes and the body where they are applied.

Glues

Made on the basis of isoamyl laurate. When applied to the hands, they provide a satisfactory level of grip. The most famous manufacturer of this type of grips is Monkey Hands.

The biggest advantage of glue-grips is that they do not leave any marks on the equipment and hands, and additionally they provide much better grip than chalk-based grips.

Grips based on beeswax

The main feature of these grips is that they are water repellent and they also prevent excessive sweating in the area where they are applied.

Therefore, they are perfect for all sports where we want various parts of the body to adhere to the sports equipment. Of course, we can also put them on our hands, but the effect will be much worse than in the case of glue-based grips.

Silica-based grips

This type of grips comes in a liquid consistency and even a small amount applied to the hands gives a great grip effect.

If we have a problem with excessive sweating of our hands, this grip will be perfect. Griptinite is a great example of a silica-based grip.

Which grip should I choose?

Pole dance / Acrobatics / Trapezes / Hoops

Do you train pole dance, pole sport or pole exotic and wondering what grip is right for you? Here you have a whole range of grips adapted to this type of activity.

If you want good and more secure grip, we recommend adhesives from Monkey Hands. Depending on how strong you want your grip to be, choose a grip with the appropriate strength.

However, if you have a problem with excessive sweating of your hands, we recommend Griptinite, Dry or Liquid Magnesia.

To further strengthen your grip on the pole in selected parts of the body, we recommend all iTac grips (based on beeswax), which have water repellent properties and also perfectly stop excessive sweating of our body.
